Owner & chief pilot Jim Regan

Jim has a true passion for flying balloons and sharing ballooning with others. He started ballooning as ground crew in 1986, earned his pilots certificate in 1991 and has flown throughout the US, as well as in Canada, Mexico, and New Zealand. Besides flying regular shape balloons, Jim has flown various special shaped balloons including Gus T. Guppy, Old McDonalds Farm, Sno-Bird, and Claw’D - the Crazy Crab Balloon. He participates in various balloon flying competitions with numerous top-10 finishes to his credit. And Jim also presents at pilot safety seminars on topics such as Pilot Decision Making, Emergencies & Propane Safety.

The Ground Team

Our ground team, made up of 2-3 people each flight, is the key to a successful hot air balloon adventure. They are trained in all aspects of the sport including set-up, inflation, and launch of the balloon. They track the balloon during its flight and then assist at its landing site in packing up the balloon. They are an invaluable asset to the pilot and while usually smiling & laughing, they are always professional.
